Pench is a landscape of teak forest, bamboo, grassland, watercourses and open clearings. The Pench River and its surrounding habitats support a rich range of wildlife, while the forest changes character with the seasons. Tigers are a major attraction, but the experience also includes leopards, wild dogs, gaur, deer, birds and the smaller details that make time in the forest rewarding.
THE KNOWLEDGE BEHIND YOUR SAFARI
The MP and Maharashtra tourism networks have different entrances, roads and accommodation bases. We use that geography to build a practical safari rather than treating every gate as interchangeable.
Turia is a major tourism entrance on the Madhya Pradesh side and is served by a substantial accommodation cluster. Its popularity does not make it the right choice for every journey. We compare available safari sessions, the selected lodge and your arrival route before recommending it.
Karmajhiri and Jamtara offer other approaches to the MP forest. Their locations and access roads need to be considered separately from Turia. We assess whether a proposed lodge is practical for the actual entrances in your itinerary and whether a different base or revised sequence would work better.
Khursapar is an important Maharashtra-side safari entrance. Its booking arrangements and approach differ from the MP network. We consider the confirmed entry, surrounding accommodation and transfer route together, rather than assuming a hotel across the state boundary will be convenient.
